Saturday and Single

Here it is, the afternoon before the highly anticipated Saturday Night. Saturday night is so epic they even made a movie about it! In high school this was a night of dances, cruising and finding that older guy I'd been dying to talk to, but too shy to approach. In college, it was an evening for frat parties, clubs and football games. And now, in my thirties and single again... nothin! What are WE known for? I consider myself to be the epitome of all I had hoped to become... A woman with a great career, charming personality, witty intellect and the kind of appearance that makes people stop and stare. So, why do I have no one to share it all with??? I'm not saying I never get asked out, but the men I've encountered have been nothing less than freaks... The cream of the crap as I like to say. Where are are all the male equivalents of me? To know that this is the plight of my generation of women curbs the frustration to a point, but why might it be this way? Follow me through the ups and downs of navigating the single life as a newly emancipated thirty something. I'll share my experiences so you might learn something from them and even laugh a little bit along the way. Next post..."Tom Thumb".
